• Turn Key and Data Aquisition Systems: Custom-built PC Data Acquisition Systems. SPEC designed and built a Snow Ingestion Measurement System for Ford Motor Company. In 2005-06 SPEC contracted with Sky Research of Ashland, Oregon to build Data Aquisition Systems for their sensor-equiped helicopters that detect unexploded munitions on military sites

• Data analysis, Report Publication and Aviation Consulting. SPEC personnel have participated in more than 50 field experiments (see our Customers, Scientific Highlights, and Publications). For example, Dr. Paul Lawson, SPEC's president, has piloted propeller and jet-powered research aircraft in several weather research experiments, including thunderstorm and aircraft icing studies.
